Rental Terms and Conditions

General Terms

• Supplier reserves the right to refuse or cancel booking at any time if you do not meet renting requirements.
• Driver’s credit card must have sufficient funds.
• All drivers must hold a valid driving license and passport.
• Additional drivers must meet main driver requirements; first driver included, daily charge for extras applies.
• Airport shuttle available free within office hours for stations outside airport perimeter.
• Vehicles returned at pre-arranged station, in same condition, with no missing fuel/equipment/parts (normal wear excepted) to avoid extra charges.
• Roadside assistance covers mechanical faults; negligence (lost keys, out of fuel) may incur fees.
• NO-SHOW: Failure to arrive on time without prior notice may incur fee.
• Local tolls/highway fees paid by driver.
• Smoking prohibited in all OtoQ vehicles.

Restricted Roads / Areas of Use

Driving on dirt roads, off-road, sand, or water is strictly prohibited. Vehicles have GPS trackers. Insurance excludes off-road damage; penalty €300 applies.

Optional Items / Extras

Special equipment and optional extras may be requested at booking or pick-up. Availability may change without notice.

Traffic Infringements & Fines

Renter responsible for fines (speeding, parking, tolls). Administration fee may apply.

Age Rules

• Minimum age 18, maximum 85; license held ≥1 yr.
• Drivers <21 yrs: extra 10€/day, max 100€.
• Drivers >65 yrs: extra 10€/day, max 100€.

Mileage Policy

• Rates include unlimited mileage.

Note: Fair usage policy applies; excessive/abusive use may incur penalties.

Fuel Policy

Same-to-Same Policy: Return vehicle with same fuel level. Missing fuel charged + 20€ refueling fee.

One-Way Rentals

Permitted with 48-hr notice; one-way fee applies.

Driver License Rules

• All drivers must hold valid license from country of residence.
• Non-Latin licenses require International Driving Permit or certified translation.
• License valid for rental period and ≥1 yr old.
• Additional proof of ID/address may be required.

Amendments to Bookings

• Delays must be reported before reserved pickup time.
• No refunds for early return, unused days, or vehicle downgrades.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations must be in writing; phone cancellations not accepted.
• ≥48 hrs: full refund.
• 24–48 hrs: 50% refund.
• <24 hrs: no refund.
• Refunds processed within 30 business days.

Compensation Policy

Unaccommodated bookings due to office liability: compensation ≤ total booking price on Drive365 voucher.

Out of Hours Service

Available on request; additional charges for pickup/drop-off.

Additional Driver

• Must meet renter requirements.
• Can be added at any branch.
• Daily surcharge 5€, max 50€.
• Max 3 additional drivers.

Late Return

Returns >60 min late: full day rate + 25€ late fee.

Cross Border Policy

Not permitted for UAE rentals.

Damage Waiver (CDW)

Limits renter liability under normal use; excludes violations/negligence. Deductibles 600–5000€, depending on vehicle. Contact bookings@Drive365.rent.

Damage Waiver Exclusions/Voids

Excludes tires, wheels, windshield, interior, undercarriage, mechanicals, and damage from negligence/misuse. Void if DUI, unauthorized, or off-road use.

Theft Protection (TP)

• Deductibles 5000–10000€, depending on vehicle. Contact bookings@Drive365.rent.

Full Damage Waiver (FDW)

Optional; reduces CDW deductible to zero under legal use. Excludes glass, tires, undercarriage, interior unless WUG paired. Cleaning fees or towing may apply for dirty/off-road vehicles.

Supplemental Liability Protection (SLP)

Included; covers up to 2,000,000€ for bodily injury/death and third-party property damage.

Deposit

Credit card hold placed for estimated rental + up to 900€, unavailable until released (may take 30 business days). Only credit cards in main driver’s name accepted; debit/prepaid/virtual cards not accepted.

Forms of Payment

• Accepted: Visa, MasterCard (credit cards only)
• Not accepted: Debit, prepaid, virtual cards

Roadside Assistance

Provided 24/7 for mechanical faults. Driver-caused issues (lost keys, flat tire) may incur fees.

Renter Requirements

License held ≥1 yr. Non-UAE license holders may require International Driving Permit. Check local UAE rules before arrival. Additional ID verification may be conducted.
