Rental Terms and Conditions

General Terms

Supplier may refuse or cancel booking if renting requirements are not met. Ensure sufficient funds on your card.

All drivers must hold a valid license and passport; international licenses require passport on collection.

Additional drivers must meet same requirements. First driver included; daily charge per additional driver.

Vehicles are covered by roadside assistance for mechanical faults. Negligence (lost keys, fuel) may incur fees.

No Show

Failure to collect before reserved pickup time may incur a fee.

Vehicles must be returned on time and in the same condition (normal wear excepted).

Local tolls may apply. Smoking is prohibited.

Security Bond

Supplier requires a security bond at collection, deducted from card. Cash payments are not accepted.

Restricted Roads / Areas of Use

Driving on dirt roads, off-road terrain, sand, or through water is prohibited.

Vehicles are equipped with GPS trackers.

No insurance covers off-road damage. Penalty: €300.

Optional Items / Extras

Special equipment and extras may be requested at booking and are subject to availability and change.

Traffic Infringements

Renter is responsible for all traffic fines. Supplier charges an administration fee.

Driver Age & Category Requirements

• Minimum license holding duration: 1 year
• Minimum driver age: 21 years
• Maximum driver age: 75 years
• Young driver age limit: 21–25 years
• Senior driver age limit: 71–75 years
• Young driver & senior driver fee: €15 per day

Mileage Policy

Unlimited mileage included.

Drive365 enforces fair usage; penalties apply for excessive or abusive use.

Fuel Policy

Vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as supplied.

Missing fuel will be charged plus a €50 refuelling fee.

One Way Rentals

One-way rentals are not permitted.

Driver Licence Rules

Valid full driving license required.

Non-Latin alphabets require an International Driving Permit or official translation.

License must be valid for entire rental period and held for at least 1 year.

Additional ID or address proof may be required.

If delayed, contact office immediately; delays over 1 hour may cancel booking.

No refunds for early return, reduced rental days, or vehicle downgrade.

Service Outside Normal Business Hours

Out-of-hours service available for €70 covering both pickup and drop-off.

Compensation Policy

Compensation for unaccommodated bookings is limited to the total booking price shown on the voucher.

Additional Driver

Additional drivers must meet renter requirements.

Added at branch; €15 per day, maximum €150.

Maximum of 2 additional drivers allowed per rental.

After Hours Service

Pickup and/or drop-off outside office hours incurs a €70 charge for both services.

Late Return

Returns over 60 minutes late are charged a full-day rental plus €25.

Age Requirements

• MINI, ECONOMY, COMPACT, INTERMEDIATE: minimum age 21
• All other categories: minimum age 23

Cross Border Policy

Cross-border rentals are not allowed.

Damage Waiver

Covers renter liability unless the Road Code is violated.

Deductibles (with pre-authorization as deposit)

• Small: €1300
• Medium: €1400
• Economy: €1700
• SUV: €2300–€2600
• 7 Seater: €2300
• 9 Seater: €2700

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

Excludes underside, interior, windshields, mirrors, keys, antenna, wrong fuel, ferry usage, acts of God, terrorism, wheels, and tires.

Without CDW, renter is liable for full damage.

Police report required for any incident.

Coverage void if damage caused by DUI, unauthorized drivers, racing, off-road driving, towing, hire use, illegal acts, or negligence.

Delivery and Collection

Not available.

One Way Drop Policy

Not available at this location.

Inclusive Policy

Rental price includes unlimited mileage, CDW, theft protection, Supplemental Liability Protection (SLP), airport fee, and VAT.

Additional protection or equipment subject to extra fees and VAT.

Forms of Payment

• Credit or debit card in renter’s name required (Visa, MasterCard).
• Not accepted: AMEX, virtual cards, prepaid cards, VPay, ApplePay, GooglePay, Revolut, Maestro.
• Security deposit accepted only via Visa or MasterCard credit card in main driver’s name.

Roadside Protection

Free 24/7 roadside assistance included.

Off-road towing costs charged to renter.

Negligence (lights left on, key damage) may incur additional fees.

Renter Requirements

Driving license held for at least 12 months.

Valid ID or passport required.

EU and selected country licenses accepted.

Non-Latin licenses require International Driving Permit or certified translation.

Vehicles returned excessively dirty incur cleaning fees between €30 and €150.

Supplemental Liability Protection (SLP)

Included coverage up to €2,200,000 per person for bodily injury or death and €2,000,000 for third-party property damage.

Theft Protection (TW)

Covers total vehicle theft.

Excludes attempted theft, lost keys, personal belongings, acts of God, and terrorism.

Police report required. Without TW, renter is liable for full vehicle value.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations allowed up to 48 hours before rental start.

Late cancellations or no-shows may incur fees unless COVID-19 related.

Refund equals total amount paid; transactions may be audited by EHI.

Booking & Amendments

Booking confirmed via email voucher.

Deposit is non-refundable.

Amendments may incur a €25 fee.

Vehicle capacity and driver eligibility must be respected.

Drive365 reserves the right to refuse rental if renter is unfit or ineligible.

Liability & Disclaimer

Owners are not liable for losses, damages, delays, or inability to use services.

Payment disputes via card issuer require prior consent.

Refund processing may take up to 12 weeks.
